This is a $5,000 Scholarship in the name of Coach Robert (Bob) Finley. This scholarship was established by former athletes of Coach Bob Finley. It's purpose is to provide financial aid to a high school graduating senior who participated in any athletic endeavor as a player, manager, trainer, or cheerleader.  Coach Finley believed that participation in athletics was an excellent way to build character.

NPC Centennial Scholarship Application 
The NPC Centennial Scholarships are named in honor of the NPC Foundation's Centennial Fund. The NPC Foundation's mission is to support NPC priorities and initiatives to enhance the sorority experience, including scholarship programs like this one.

For consideration for NPC Centennial Scholarships, please complete the following application. 
Applicants will be asked to complete a short essay using the included prompt (max: 500 words). Along with the essay question, the following materials are required to complete the application:

• Resume (include academic pursuits, school/extra-curricular involvement and community involvement)
• One (1) letter of support/recommendation indicating a commitment to high academic achievement, school and community involvement

While NPC hopes the scholarship recipients will join a sorority, future sorority membership is not a requirement of the award.

The Junior League of Birmingham

The JLB Academic Scholarship is a non-renewable scholarship, distributed annually. The number of recipients varies each year based on available funding. Awards are given in amounts ranging from $2,500-$5,000.
Each year the JLB Academic Scholarship has funded deserving women to support the volunteer and leadership potential of Birmingham’s rising leaders.

JLB Scholarship

Linly Heflin Scholarship 

Linly Heflin grants scholarships for up to eight semesters or 5 years in the amount of $5,000 per semester to a limited number of applicants who have  economic needs and proven academic records.  An ACT score of 23 (superscored) is required. Scholarships are restricted to Alabama women who are United States citizens attending four-year accredited Alabama colleges or universities. 

This application form with supporting documentation must be completed by January 10, 2025 at 11:59p.m. Necessary documents include academic transcripts, ACT score verification, and verification of income.

College Scholarship opportunity that's specific for senior class students who may have been diagnosed with Type One Diabetes.

With the national corporate support provided by embecta, our Jim's Team 4 Diabetes Foundation will be providing "25" individual College Scholarships each valued at $500.00 for T1D students across the USA. Our Scholarships help cover the student's Diabetes insulin costs and some medical supplies when they first begin their college studies.

American Legion Scholarship

Eligibility

1. Students must be legal residents of Alabama.

2. Person applying for scholarship must be a son, daughter, grandson, or granddaughter of a veteran that served their country during times of war.

3. You must be attending a University that we have a scholarship at. (See attached list) Applications must be returned to American Legion Scholarship, P.O. Box 1069, Montgomery, Alabama 36101 and received not later than April 1, 2025. Scholarships are $850.00. Only recipients will be notified.

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients “regardless of nationality” with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free.
